Lipseals

Our technical advisors can advise and support you with the development and execution of new designs, renovations and repair jobs. If there is no standard solution available for your specific problem, we offer the possibility to adapt a standard item or to develop a special product together with you to solve your specific sealing problem.
The design of the lipseals VR differs quit a lot from standard oilseals in the sense, that the membranes are not vulcanised to the metal support parts. This allows the membrane a flexibel movement and on the other hand is the seallip maximally supported and guarantees a perfect sealing.
The Lipseal is characterised by a long life and the not scoring of the shaft. Because of the optimal support of the sealing membrane, large pressures can be sealed. The standard serie can seal pressures up to 15 bar, depending on the rotational speed and temperature. In cases where an extra high pressure has to be sealed, a special type was developped, the type SOA. This seal can seal pressures up to 150 bar with 3.000 rpm, made possible by the special construction of the sealsupport and housing.
For replacing standard oilseals which cause problems, the type BSB can be used. generally the life is 3x longer, there is no scoring on the shaft and the pump-effect is absent.
Lipseals as replacement for oilseals, stuffing box packings, mechanical seals and most other seals for rotation.
The sealsystem is suitable for use in an ATEX surrounding.
Several models are suitable for use in the foodstuff industry and pharmacy and some elastomers can be supplied with the EC1935:2004 certificate.
